Marc E. Fleischman, Esq.

Marc E. Fleischman is a 1980 graduate of the Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, where he was a member of the Law Review.  He began his professional career with the New York Law Firm of Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine and became a Partner of the Firm, resident in its Los Angeles office, in 1989.  At Donovan Leisure he specialized in corporate, real estate, cable television, commercial, finance, and transactional matters.

Mr. Fleischman joined the international industrial minerals company, World Minerals, Inc., as its General Counsel and corporate Secretary in 1991, rising to the position of Executive Vice President.  He remained the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of World Minerals until 2005.  While at World Minerals, Mr. Fleischman oversaw all legal aspects of the company's business, including its expansion into new markets in Asia, Latin America, Europe and North Africa.  He also served in the positions of President and Treasurer of The International Diatomite Producers Association, an industry trade group.  Mr. Fleischman successfully completed the General Manager Program at Harvard Business School in 2000.

From 2005 until 2015, Mr. Fleischman was the principal in the Law Offices of Marc E. Fleischman, a law practice limited to corporate, commercial, real estate, and international matters.  He lectures widely on topics of business and business law and has served as an adjunct professor of business and law in the undergraduate and MBA programs at SBB College in Santa Barbara, California, an adjunct professor of business law at Brooks Institute in Ventura, California, and an adjunct professor, teaching Remedies, at the Southern California Institute of Law in Santa Barbara, California.

Mr. Fleischman is Of Counsel to the New York Law Firm of Pesetsky & Bookman.  There he specializes in business formation, lease and contract negotiation, finance, corporate, and commercial matters.

Mr. Fleischman is a member of the New York and California bars.
